keeping it real.. the real deal of life!
(Tuesday, March 25, 2008/10:42 AM)

when we shout that the food's not up to our "standards" .. have we thought about the kids in Africa who dun have barely any to eat?

everyone, and that includes yours truly, who are blardy guilty of this instance. not once. twice. many a times.. betol?

we complain about work and the pressures of inflation and rising standards of livings.. have we thought about the 'working' children in and around the world. they'ld be glad to pick rubbish, sell newspaper or in all worst scenario be a child sex slave to earn their bucks. for just slices of simple amenities of life?

we often 'chorus' in condemning these acts but i know its really limited of what we can do over on our side. but trust me. a prayer or two would help. lets pray for their well being..

didcha notice that we have so much issues for the govt to address. the whole community to look into. and all the living beings to succumb to.. BUT

have we ever asked what we have done to come out of those situations?

we have scholars to study and keep researching on all the things in the world. but i think this needs no research. its all about keeping things within our means. and R.E.A.L.

most of us are born with all the senses intact.. but then we lack the effort of being humble. of which i think a very impt factor in life.

since we commemorated Prophet Muhammad's (phuh) birthday not a while ago.. we have a purrfect eg on this subject of being humble. of which we are often guilty as charged of not getting there. betol?

you dun need a detailed vocab to do this. or wealth to do this. (of which people always say. no money no talk?)

its all about heart. of which it beats for HIM. in ideal situations larh kan?

so people. we can do this together. we learn to keep it real together ouhkay? and then hopefully in HIS Grace and the supplications of our Prophet Muhammad (phuh) for us.. we can strive. as ONE.

i wrote this blog because i want to remind myself that i'm not the only one with issues. be it my personal self. my professional self. or with the faith that i'm declaring myself with.. its all abt moving forward. or at this point of time, i'm halting. to realise that i still have HIS LOVE. for i'm still breathing. of which it means a chance to better things in life. InsyaALLAH.

drop a prayer or two for me ouhkay lurvelies?
