okay it was a date out with my poly mates yesterday.. with COMPLIMENTARY TICKETS we headed to the show..which show.. yeah we went to watch 'Anugerah Penuh Mishaps'. i'll tell you why i re-iterated the COMPLIMENTARY part later...

i was like anticipating a good show from the performers from Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

But heck NOT.. let me do this first before any fans of any local seh-lebs come tagging me nonsense..

Disclaimer : I'm doing this not because I dun follow the local scene, or me being very not supportive of the scene... no! i'm still one who believes that the malay music industry started from Singapura.. yes HERE! with the start of the Jalan Ampas days till the Shaw Bros days... Malay music was up and done with HERE! yes in OUR very city... I have to agree that a couple made it big across the causeway.. WHY? i believe that they put each and every effort to do that.. Salute! I am doing this Tongue-In-Cheek as i do not want to hurt any fans of any of the artiste I am going to write on...

Yesterday nite.. we had the "ball" of Ello's trophy went rolling off the stage..

i was like??? Huh? What the TooT! we went off laughing like nobody's biz.. it made him look stoopid up there ya know.. luckily he has this comical face and he played around with the situation... *but hell we dunnow what he was thinking up there* thats not the end of it.. there was another ball that went rolling off backstage AGAIN when the hosts was on...

i never went to an awards show looking forward to the hosts more than the artiste line up.. this time i did.. i was wishing that the hosts came out more than the people singing or perhaps making fools out of themselves.. yet again... cos the ever entertaining aznil was around.. he is the mother of all host!

one of the best performance of the evening would be of the combination of marcell, siti nurhaliza, rossa and anuar zain belting out KANGEN.. another wonderful one would be Taufik Batisah's slot.. and the combination of him and Mawi.. (Disclaimer : I am nt into the latter.. I feel that he dun sing.. he shouts) Taufik Rocks.. and I sincerely think he can sing better than his AF3 counterpart... and ahem! *coughs* well taufik.. siapa bilang gadis melayu tak menawan ehh?

whats? that lady's name? the one who cant hold the note singing Sharifah Zarina's Langit ke 7? her voice screeched on the song.. *forgettable*

and i am going to dub yesterday's nite show as... Anugerah Penuh Menembak.. and there's only one target.. yes.. future 'Datin' Siti Nurhaliza perhaps... the whole 'shooting' scene was against her.. Adi as ever having his favourite brand of jokes coupling himself with that soopah-star was calling himself 'Datuk A', making 'Datuk K' a run for his SITI.. and the last one came from the Warna DJ who made her say... "whoa.. seronok ehh semua menembak"...*ehh minah.. lu terasa ka per?*

minus that.. i had a fair share of good stuffs lah yesterday..

i had dig time to spend with my mates.. we went a lil early out cos we had another one in the agenda lah..

i get to witness Ariel and Andika receive 2 awards for Peterpan.. I dig them!

i get to witness a very humble statement from Dali of Ahlifiqir... "saya harap kepala kami ber-empat tidak membesar dengan pengiktirafan yang sebesar ini.." that is very honest.. in my opinion...

i get to watch Anuar Zain!!! yeah.. this one i LIKE! ever gorgeous, ever stylo.. ever dimpley...

and marcell too... ladies.. pls agree with me that he's so gorgeous... nice shoulder drop... with that black shirt a lil tucked out.. jeans and white pair of sneakers? and that baldness of him.. soopah suits him! *orgasmic*

overall i'm okay with the show lah.. but then the next time round.. dun let the ball drop.. dun pair singers who will make the other a fool out of herself... and dun let people who cant sing live win "best female newcomer". cos we dunnow her.. worst she cant sing live?

like as i started off... luckily it was COMPLIMENTARY tickets...

last week, i spent one leave day to go to tekong to witness my bro's passing out parade...

it was good. was fun. was HOT on the weather though...

my bro teared when daddy put up the jockey cap for him (mark of respect and successfully became a private) and i saw my ol man teared too... *chets*

so i enjoyed the whole event though waiting for the ferry was long sey...

it was actually a proud moment because my bros are particularly close to me cos i'm never just a sister.. i'm more like a friend... and losing our momma at such a young age has taught us lots...
and watching them grow taller than me.. its remarkable.. although i'm still lacking in some ways or another.. not-a-so-perfect example most of the times.. i did it! i brought them up.. even though thru tough times and all.

and today.. they're leading their own lives.. but they're still around.. close to me..

i am extending my congratulations to the good 'ol malay boy of singapore golf, Abg Mardan!

i am very very, in all honesty proud of him.. i cried when he cried on the green yesterday.. i had tears when i overheard on TV when his wife said in a teary voice.. "i am so proud of you..."

well, given his backgroud... he started off a caddy boy... working the greens with leisure and professional golfers on the singapore fairways.

my knowledge of golf is only *this much*, measured like only an inch.. but daddy.. he followed this competition with full gusto, dragging all of us to watch with him.. *chets*

and i managed to catch the last 3 holes of the game.. when the defending champion, nick dougherty breathed down his neck through the last hole... nick birdied and i was shucks! you've got gather all guts to win this mardan! and he did! with 12 under par, he won.. close to nick's 11 under.

i want to watch him in the european league.. and every other worldly leagues! and perhaps donning the green jacket, just like WOODS!
