the state of being friends, the quality or state of being friendly
what can we derive from these 2 words? it shows that we can affliate friends to people we chose to be around and those we lurve to have for company rite?
perhaps some of us have no difficulties of making friends as our personality speaks but I believe some of us would have some issues opening up to strangers too.
It depends, on individuals.. really.
So what happens after friendships are forged? We go lepak2 together.. we travel together. We learn from each other and perhaps share other activites together.. That’s what friendships tend to offer.
So, what happens if we happen to have differing thoughts and approaches to things? Should we talk it out? Should we just accept and adapt or should we just walk away and erase them from our listing of friends?
Okay, now that we’re friends.. but how do we
maintain it?
In my honest opinions, we should be accepting the differences
BUT also talk to our friends if we dun kinda like what there are doing.. or perhaps if they continue doing it, it’ll strain the friendship totally.
At the other end, our friend should take comments with an open heart.. cos friendships are meant to better ourselves, in another word, motivate us to achieve some goals/dreams that we used to think its not achievable within our means.
And what happens if we kinda quarrel or perhaps have some addhoc issues in that friendship?
I’ve always believe in being honest with my friends.
“Open table talks” with them helps. But we’ve gotta have a very clear mind in doing this move. Never feel confronted if this happens cos I believe as a friend.. we’ve gotta keep
E.G.O on a low and move forward with everything with a common goal, of which keeping the friendship for life.
Personally, I have friends whom I keep since primary school days and naturally lost some along the way too. But losing a friend doesn’t mean being nasty, BUT its much more of sifting out those we kinda know its not worth keeping and that perhaps fate has it that we learn from those failures.
We are humans, most definitely. Like in life, we make mistakes in friendships too. We’ve gotta really pick our bad notches and move on.. slowly but surely.
Owell, what I’ve just wrote is my most humblest take on maintaining friendships. For all of us to pause and ponder whether we whom we have in our mobile contacts list, messenger services contact list or even our own reliable filofax are those we wanna keep as friends, just plain pure acquaintances or just business partners or even just online contacts.
Till then, happy Thursday blog community… with lurve that is!
