dad, i lurve you.

heyya people.. yesterday i've got an impromptu treat from my lil sista. thanks dja..
we went to the moo-vees.. watched Disney's "The Game Plan". It was a really refreshing show, although the story line was soopa predictable. The lil gerl who played Dwayne Johson's daughter was uber cute, really... an act.. herself!
Mid of the movie, I got a soopa emotionally engaged with the daughter's character.. I cried. Can you imagine.. crying watching a comedy? Bleargh~
It got me reminded of the unconditional lurve that my ol man has actually given me.. and my 2 lil imps. Egoistic as men or fathers i should say.. they've surely got a softer side that we still can engage with..
When i was a young girl, I always looked at ol man like
'scary' figure.. When i was at the age that I wasnt supposed to 'drink ma milk from the bottle'.. upon smelling that he's back at the doorstep of my home.. i shudder in fear.. i poofed-off and hid under the bed.. dangs! those were the days that i still can
FIT underneath a bed.. now i think you've gotta call the firemen to get me out of that position.. bwahahahahaha!
Okay.. back to the topic..
You see.. My father mellowed down after my mom's demise.. He kinda became very emotionally engaged with all the 3 of his kiddos. We can do the slightest things and he can feel the huge pinch on him.. And amongst the 3, i'm the one who's soopa attached to him...
And i sobbed..
shamelessly in the moovie theatre..
~sniff, sniff~Dad, although you're not reading this.. i just wanna say i lurve you. loads. And people, if you've got rifts with ya dad, please still lurve him.. for he's part of us..
